Working principle
LW series horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge is mainly composed of drum, screw conveyor, differential, double motor (main and auxiliary motor) double frequency converter, integrated machine base, fully closed casing, feed pipe and automatic control system. It can carry out solid-liquid separation, particle size classification, solid phase dehydration and liquid phase clarification of suspension with different specific gravity difference.The host starts and automatically increases the speed. When the predetermined index is reached and the rotating speed of the drum reaches the feeding speed, the suspension to be separated enters the inner cavity of the screw conveyor through the centrifuge feeding pipe, and is discharged from the screw conveyor silo after acceleration, and is evenly distributed to the inner wall of the drum. After the material enters the centrifuge drum, due to the strong centrifugal force generated by the rotating drum, the suspension forms an annular liquid flow in the drum. The strong centrifugal force makes the solid phase particles with higher density in the suspension quickly settle to the inner wall of the drum to form a sediment ring layer. Due to the different rotating speeds of the spiral and the drum, there is relative movement between the spiral and the drum. The solid phase deposited on the inner wall of the drum is pushed to the drying zone of the drum, then discharged through the small end of the slag mouth, the continuous addition of liquid phase from the centrifuge big end of the overflow hole discharge or through the centripetal pump discharge, so as to complete the solid-liquid separation process.
