The decanter centrifuge has the characteristics of stable operation, continuous automatic feeding, separation and unloading, and high separation efficiency, and is widely used in fields such as chemical engineering, petroleum, brewing, and environmental protection. People who have used a horizontal spiral centrifuge know that it needs maintenance, and its maintenance mainly depends on maintaining lubrication.

Good lubrication is an important prerequisite for the stable operation of a decanter centrifuge. Here is an introduction to the lubrication of centrifuges.

1. Differential lubrication:

The lubrication of the differential is immersion lubrication, and the oil temperature is high during operation, making it easy to leak oil under the action of centrifugal force. The oil reservoir should be checked regularly and replenished in a timely manner.

Take samples every month to check the lubricating oil in the differential, analyze the moisture and acidity, check if the lubricating oil is normal, identify the cause of the abnormality, and replace it immediately. When adding new oil, look for the brand and oil quality, and it is strictly prohibited to use lubricating oil with unknown brand or impurities.

2. Drum lubrication:

Check the oil filling holes on the drum and add oil according to the specified requirements.

Lubrication precautions for horizontal screw centrifuge:

When adding new engine oil, look for the brand and oil quality. It is strictly prohibited to add lubricating oil of unknown brand or impurities to the differential. Due to its concealed location, it is difficult to observe the lubrication effect, so regular replacement of lubricating grease is a working condition to ensure lubrication measures, especially for high-temperature materials or frequent hot water cleaning. Users should develop corresponding lubrication cycles based on actual conditions to ensure effective lubrication.

2. If the main bearing adopts forced circulation lubrication with thin oil, the pressure oil should be transported from the oil supply station to the bearing seat, and the lubricated oil should return to the oil tank through the return pipe, while taking away the heat generated by the bearing.

3. Each shift should check the oil level in the fuel tank, replenish it in a timely manner if any deficiency is found, and replace it immediately if any deterioration is found. The oil quantity should be adjusted according to changes in flow rate and bearing temperature. If the bearing temperature is high, the oil supply should be increased accordingly to ensure sufficient lubrication of the centrifuge and to remove excess heat.
