Disc separators are widely used in the dairy industry, primarily for processes such as milk skimming, clarification, and purification.‌

Additionally, disc separators can be employed for whey protein concentration, the removal of impurities from milk (such as blood milk and dead skin cells), and other purification steps in dairy processing.‌ With a separation accuracy reaching the micron level, they are suitable for liquid-liquid two-phase separation (e.g., emulsion separation) and liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation (e.g., comprehensive purification of raw milk).‌

The advantages of this equipment in the dairy industry include high processing capacity (available in various specifications from laboratory to industrial scales), flexible operating conditions (it can operate in enclosed, high-temperature, or low-temperature environments), and the ability to achieve high recovery rates (such as a protein recovery rate exceeding 98%).
